A Prayer Request from Biblical Man: The Heart Behind This Ministry
This isn’t just a post—it’s a plea from one blue-collar brother to the family of faith reading these words.
The Call of Biblical Man
I’m not a theologian in a seminary or a pastor in a pulpit. I’m just a husband, a father of five, and a blue-collar worker with calloused hands and a conviction burning hotter than the North Dakota summers I work through.
The Biblical Man ministry isn’t a side hustle or a polished brand. It’s a calling—a fire in my bones to speak truth about manhood, marriage, fatherhood, and faith in a world that’s lost its way. Every week, I pour myself into this work: researching Scripture, dissecting modern Christianity, studying what’s happening in the culture, and listening to stories of people fighting battles in silence.
Writing posts like “Why My Wife’s $0.00 Salary Is Our Family’s Greatest Asset”—the one that’s reached thousands of you—takes hours of prayer, study, and effort before a single word hits the page.
This isn’t a desk job with coffee breaks. I’m up before the sun most days, working my knuckles raw in sub-zero temps to put food on the table for my wife and family. Life is expensive— keeping the heat on, and raising a family grounded in faith.
I’ve sacrificed for this ministry. I turned down a second job that could’ve eased the financial strain because I believe in this mission. I believe in speaking to you—men seeking godly purpose, wives building homes, families fighting the culture’s tide.
But now, I’m at a crossroads.
The Cost and the Crossroads
Here’s the truth: I can’t keep pouring out at this pace without your help. If this ministry doesn’t bring in some income, I’ll have to cut back, take that second job, and spend less time writing the words you’ve come to rely on.
I don’t say this to guilt you—life’s expensive for all of us, and I know you’re hustling too. I say it because I want you to know what’s at stake.
This page, these posts, this truth—it’s a lifeline for many, and it’s hanging by a thread of faith and grit.
So I’m coming to you with a prayer request.
Pray for my family, for wisdom, for provision. Pray for direction in how to move forward. If God wants this ministry to be my full-time job, then He’s going to have to provide a way. And if He wants me to work a secondary physical job like I’ve done for many, many years, I’m willing to do that too. I just want to walk in His will, wherever that leads.
Pray that this ministry can keep going strong, reaching men who need to hear that being a godly husband and father isn’t weakness—it’s war. Pray that I can keep showing up for you without breaking my back or my spirit.
A Way to Give Once
If you’ve been blessed by my free content over the past year—posts that hit you in the gut, made you nod, or gave you ammo for the battles you face—would you consider a one-time gift?
I’ve set up a “Buy Me a Coffee” page where you can donate simply and securely. It’s got minimal fees on my end and none for you—just a way to say, “Keep going, brother.”
Every dollar helps us keep the lights on and the words flowing.

A Way to Invest Long-Term
Maybe you’ve been here for a while and see the value in this work—lives touched, families strengthened, truth defended.
If you can afford it, would you consider becoming a monthly, annual, or founding subscriber on Substack?
Think of it as investing in a ministry. Your generous giving fuels posts that reach thousands, maybe millions, with a message the world desperately needs. It’s not just about me—it’s about the husbands, wives, and kids whose stories shift because of what we’re building together.
You can join here: Subscribe to Biblical Man.
And to those of you who already support my work. Your support means the world to us. God Bless you all.
The Fight Goes On
I’m not here to beg—I’m here to fight, same as always. But I can’t do it alone.
Your prayers, your support, your shares—they’re the wind in these sails.
My wife proofread this, and she’s standing with me, asking you to stand with us. She told me last night, “I see how hard you work, and I just want you to keep going. Don’t stop.”
So here I am, asking the same of you.
We’re in this for the long haul—for our kids, for yours, for the Kingdom.
What say you, family? Let me hear from you in the comments—your struggles, your prayers, your stake in this fight.
Your work is well worth supporting. My suggestion would be to limit your posts to once a day rather than many times a day. My inbox is already very full and I can't take it all in anyway when you send several in one day.
Prayers and donation coming your way brother! Keep up the good fight ✊
